Peacehaven Home & Business Showcase
MAKE a diary note for the Peacehaven Home and Business Showcase on Wednesday 18 June 2008 at the Meridian Centre, 10 am to 6.00 pm.
What is it?
As the name suggests, the main purpose of this event is to give an opportunity to members of the Chamber of Commerce to promote their businesses and expertise to other businesses and the general public through exhibits and seminars.
I'm not a business person - why should I come along?
The members of the Peacehaven & District Chamber of Commerce are a diverse bunch. The chances are if you are looking for a product or a service, a Chamber member can supply it. Also throughout the day a number of short talks will take place on subjects of interest to the general public, for example on keeping fit and healthy and buying a property overseas - to name just two.
I thinking about starting a business - is it worth popping along?
Certainly! For as well as the opportunity to talk to people who have long ditched the 9 to 5 treadmill, there's a couple of workshops scheduled to help you through the maize of compliance and the issues of working from home.
I'm a business owner - what can I get from attending?
The chance to meet fellow business owners, find potential suppliers, source new clients and find out how membership of the Peacehaven & District Chamber of Commerce can help you to grow your business. And, if that isn't enough, there's the seminar programme.
